The program has been continuously accredited since 1946. In 2007, a new performance site was accredited making the MOT degree available on two campuses in Minnesota, Minneapolis and Rochester. Both performance sites are accredited to enroll and graduate students.

Why is accreditation important?

Students must graduate from an ACOTE-accredited program to be eligible to sit for the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc (NBCOT) certification examination.
